Group Meeting: Joan Chattey from the charity Medical Detection Dogs

Medical Detection Dogs train Medical Alert Assistance dogs to help people living with conditions including Type 1 Diabetes. They seek to raise awareness with individuals who may benefit from their work, or those who may like to support them.
The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in Diabetes - it is not necessary to be a member of the charity in order to come along, admission is free, and anyone attending for the first time is promised a warm welcome. A selection of information leaflets will be available, as will loans from the Group’s library of diabetes Reference Books.
